Eagles play well but suffer losses
      The Jenkins County High School varsity Eagles baseball team continued to play well this past week despite four losses on the diamond. "It's been a tough week losing three region games by a total of fours runs. The guys are really coming together and playing some good baseball.

Chess camp for kids set for June 4-8
      Youngsters who are interested in chess are invited to expand their knowledge of the game during a summer day camp at Georgia Southern University. The annual chess camp for children in grades kindergarten-12th will be Monday-Friday, June 4- 8, in the Nessmith-Lane Continuing Education Building.
