Letter to the Editor

Editor:

I would like to take this opportunity to send a heartfelt thanks to the staff of Jenkins County Hospital for their wonderful treatment during my recent stay there.

I have been an in-patient at MCG in Augusta, St. Joseph's in Savannah and East Georgia Regional in Statesboro, and I can tell you all that none of these institutions has more courteous or professional care than the good people we have here.

Kudos to Mr. Mills, Mr. Burke and other members of the administration for having such a quality team of nurses, orderlies and technicians.

Also, may I say a sincere thank you to Dr. Kyle Gay, who has shown that he is not only a skilled and professional physician but also a solid member of our community and a true friend.

I will not abide any criticism of Jenkins County Hospital or Dr. Gay in my presence because they have been there for me and my family.
