National Day of Prayer observed locally May 3

National Day of Prayer, sponsored locally by Morrison Grove Baptist Church, is scheduled for Thursday, May 3.

The church will open at 8 a.m. and remain open all day for residents to have private prayer or group prayers on

behalf of their families, schools, communities and world.

During the day inspirational literature will be available on site.

A community prayer service will begin at 7:30 p.m. The Rev. Elliott J. Butler, staff minister for Beulah Grove Baptist Church, will deliver the message.

R e f r e s h m e n t s will be served in the social hall following the service.  The public is invited to attend.
