Daddy,

You were taken from us in this life a year ago. But you live in our hearts and soul.

God has taken you home, and it feels as if we were left alone. I look for you to walk in the door or call me on the phone - but I know it's not to be because you have gone.

I thank God we were with you at the end, when your journey began. Now we have each other and mother. Our memories we can share with our children and grandchildren, so you are honored in death as well as life.
