Millen Baptist to honor grads

A baccalaureate service in honor of the Class of 2007 will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, May 20, at Millen Baptist Church.

The service is an opportunity for graduates to draw upon spiritual strength for new stages of their lives. Dr. Kyle Gay and the Rev. Kevin Farmer, pastor of Elam Baptist Church, will share encouragements and challenges with the graduates.

Seniors who have not signed up are asked to do so as soon as possible. Those participating are asked to be at the church at 3:30 p.m. with caps and gowns. Instructions for the service will be given before the service. No advance practice will be necessary.

The public is invited to attend.
