Godbee, Bennett to wed Aug. 25

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Godbee of Millen announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Ann Godbee, to William Jason Bennett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Bennett of Millen.

The wedding will take place 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at Dry Branch Baptist Church. A reception will be held at the Red Hill Community House immediately following the ceremony.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lottie Alice Godbee and the late Emory Godbee and Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Waters, all of Millen.

She is a 2002 graduate of Jenkins County High School and a 2004 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College where she earned a Small Business Management degree. She is presently employed as an administrative assistant with John L. Fulcher, CPA in Millen.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Martha Robbins, Jean Chester Murphy, the late Alfred Chester Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roosevelt Bennett Sr., all of Millen

He is a 1999 graduate of Jenkins County High School and is employed by Capital Architectural Products, a division of J.T. Walker Industries, of Millen.

No local invitations will be sent. All family and friends of the couple are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
