Miss Kirkland to marry Mr. Burch

Brandy Kirkland and Charles Burch Jr.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bird and Mr. Tim Newman of Millen announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandy Leigh Kirkland, to Mr. Charles Leon Burch Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Wiggins and Mr. and Mrs. C. Leon Burch Sr. of Millen.

The wedding is planned for 6 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2007 at the Magnolia Terrace Wedding Chapel in Helen with a reception following at Bald Mountain State Park in Hiawassee. Invitations have been sent.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ms. Joyce Bestwick of Houston, Miss., the late Clifford L. Bestwick of Fredonia, Penn. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Faye A. Kirkland Sr. of Millen.

She is a 2003 graduate of Jenkins County High School and is currently employed by Troy A. Gay, P.C. in Millen.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Grace Burch and the late Mr. Fred P. Burch Sr. of Midville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter F. Parrish of Millen.

He is a 1999 graduate of Jenkins County High School and is currently employed by Burch Repair Service Inc. and Buckhead Creek Farms Inc.
