Parker Grove

Parker Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Rocky Ford, will celebrate its 97th church anniversary 10 a.m. Sunday, June 10. The Rev. Levon Alston is interim pastor.

The Rev. Thomas Norman III, pastor, and members of the Horse Creek United Methodist Church, Sylvania, will be guests.

The public is invited.

West Millen

West Millen Baptist Church will hold Vacation Bible School (VBS) for adults and youth, grades six through 12, Monday- Wednesday, June 4-6.

The adult class will meet 7 p.m. at the home of Jeff and Judy Joyner on Old Louisville Road. A meal will be served.

The youth classes will meet 6 p.m. at the church.

VBS for children ages 0-5th grade will be held Monday- Thursday, June 18-21, at the church.

Registration will be held 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 18. Family night will be held Thursday, June 21.

All adults, youth and children are invited.

New Hurricane

Branch Baptist

New Hurricane Branch Baptist Church choir will celebrate its 44th anniversary 4 p.m. Sunday, June 3.

The public is invited to attend.

Bethel Church

Bethel Church will celebrate its first pastor's anniversary for Alma P. Mack Sunday, June 3.

The Rev. R.L. Whitehead, pastor of Sand Hill and Bargeron Grove Baptist churches, will be the guest speaker at the 11 a.m. service.

Bethel's former pastor, the Rev. Bernard Clarke, will speak at the 4 p.m. service.

Bethel is located at 217 Walnut Street next to the old Rite- Aid building.
