Rep. Barrow to be in Millen Thursday

Twelfth District Congressman John Barrow will be in Millen noon Thursday, May 31, at the Jenkins County Agriculture Center. The meeting is one of several stops on the Congressman's third annual Rural Listening Tour.

Rep. Barrow will discuss ongoing negotiations concerning the 2007 Farm Bill, an important piece of legislation that affects all of Georgia, especially rural and agricultural communities. He serves on the House Agriculture Committee, which has primary jurisdiction in writing the Farm Bill.
