Summer food service program begins Monday

The Jenkins County Board of Education (BOE) announces the Summer Food Service Program will be held at the Jenkins County Middle/High School cafeteria beginning Monday, June 4, and ending Friday, June 29.

This program provides nutritious lunches at no cost to all children 18 years of age and younger. Lunches will be served 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The BOE will provide transportation for children only. The bus will make five different stops within the city limits.
