Diamond Dawgs win double-header

On Sunday, May 20, the Diamond Dawgs won both games of a double-header against the Broxton Braves, with a good crowd of fans in attendance.

Geoffrey Daniel was the winning pitcher of game one, by a score of 11-6. Leading hitters for game one were Drew Dudley, 2 for 3 with 4 RBIs; Houston Bowers, 2 for 4; and Bob Hoke, 2 for 2 with 3 RBIs.

Avery McAlpine picked up the win in game two after coming in relief for Lee Ogden. The Dawgs won game two 9-6. Leading hitters were Dudley, 4 for 4 with 3 RBIs; Bowers, 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs; and Taylor Frawley, Jamie Lee and Justin Lanier, all 1 for 2.
