Mary Cornelia Hembel, 87, of Millen died May 26

Mrs. Mary Cornelia Hembel, 87, of Millen died Saturday, May 26, 2007 at her residence following a long illness.

Graveside services were held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Guyton Cemetery.

Mrs. Hembel was born in Chatham County and was a retired medical records librarian and a member of the Langston Chapel Methodist Church.

Survivors include her two daughters, Caroline H. Beard of Millen and Judith H. Clabough of Maryville, Tenn.; a son Marvin Martin Hembel of Bogart; and several grandchildren.

Crowe-Fields Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
