Two locals graduate from Bulloch Academy
Jenkins County residents Sarah Will Woodrum and John Dennis Dempsey recently graduated from Bulloch Academy in Statesboro. Woodrum, an honor graduate and recipient of the HOPE Scholarship, is the daughter of the Honorable William and Kathy Woodrum and plans to attend the University of Georgia. Dempsey, also a recipient of the HOPE Scholarship, is the son of Charlie and Sandra Dempsey and plans to attend Georgia Southern University. Bulloch Academy's 29th annual commencement exercise was held May 25, in the Georgia Southern University Performing Arts Center. The event featured a multimedia presentation about the members of the Class of 2007 and a commencement address from Max Burns, former U.S. representative from the 12th district.
