Millen U.M.C. to host benefit

for Christine Bragg

A "Half Rubber Benefit Tournament," sponsored by Millen United Methodist Church, will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Jenkins County Recreation Department. All proceeds will benefit Christine Bragg.

The cost per team is $50. Concessions will be available.

West Millen Baptist Church

West Millen Baptist Church will hold Vacation Bible School for babies through fifth grade only, 6-8:30 p.m., Monday, June 18, through Wednesday, June 20.

Family Night will be Thursday, June 21.

This year's theme is, "Game Day Central."

Registration is required, and it will take place 5 p.m. Monday, June 18. A parent or guardian must accompany child during registration.

William Grove C.O.G.I.C.

Williams Grove C.O.G.I.C. will hold a "Hat Service: Covering" 5 p.m. Saturday, June 16. The spoken word will be given by the pastor, Superintendent K.H. Thomas. For more information, contact Missionary Annie Jean Clarke at 982-5587.

Skull Creek Missionary Baptist Church

No. 2

Skull Creek Missionary Baptist Church No. 2 will hold their 127th Church Anniversary 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 15. The sermon will be brought by the Rev. Levi Sapp.

On Sunday, June 17, an anniversary program will be held. Sunday school will begin at 10 a.m. Sis. Bernice Handberry will preside. The guest church will be Salter Grove Baptist Church of Bartow. The speaker will be the Rev. Walter Holmes.

Dry Branch Baptist Church to

hold VBS June 24-28

Dry Branch Baptist Church will hold Vacation Bible School

VBS), "Jungle Jaunt," 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 24, through Thursday, June 28. Come deep into the Amazon Rain Forest as the river runners, kids, go on expedition with the one true God.

Classes will be provided for babies through 12th grade for Club VBS. The river runners will jaunt through adventure-filled Bible stories, create cool rainforest crafts, enjoy rainforest snacks and ride the recreation rapids.

The Amazon adventure is offered to every child in the community, supervised by a trained team of river guides, teachers.

The church has a van ministry, and children may be picked up, if needed.

Daniel Grove Baptist Church to hold rally

Daniel Grove Baptist Church will host a "50 State Rally" 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 16.

Mistress of Ceremony will be June Powell, and Deacon Clifford Mosley will offer remarks. The state announcer will be Sis. Hazel Banner.

Second McCoy Baptist Church

Second McCoy Baptist Church will hold their annual revival 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 25, through Friday, June 29. The Rev. Levi Sapp is pastor.
