      Mrs. Margaret Lightfoot Barnett, 82, of Augusta passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at Medical College of Georgia Hospital in Augusta. Graveside services were held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 9, in Resthaven Cemetery, Washington, with the Rev. Grady Wigley of Athens officiating.

      Miss Rubye Forehand, 87, of Millen died Saturday, June 9, 2007. Her funeral was held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, at Elam Baptist Church with Dr. Maurice Crowder and the Revs. Kevin Farmer and Ben Gay officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
