Mr. Michael A. Wiggins died Friday, June 22 Michael A. Wiggins of North Charleston, S.C. entered into eternal rest on the morning of Friday, June 22, 2007. Relatives and friends attended his funeral services in Riverbluff Church, North Charleston, at three o'clock Tuesday, June 26, 2007. A second service will be held Thursday, June 28, at one o'clock at Ogeechee Freewill Baptist Church in Millen. Burial will be in Deep Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Millen. Visitation will be held today, (Wednesday,) June 27, in Crowe- Fields Funeral Home, 364 East Winthrope Ave., between six and eight o'clock. Mr. Wiggins was born June 3, 1930, in Herndon, the son of George A. Wiggins and Beatrice Scarboro Wiggins. He graduated from Jenkins County High School with honors and completed a four-year course in two years at Georgia Southern College in Statesboro, graduating with honors. He also received a degree from the University of Georgia in Athens, a degree in nursing from the University of Alabama and a degree from Louisiana State as a nurse anesthetist. Mike was a proud American and was a veteran with the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force. He retired head nurse anesthetist, Charleston Memorial Hospital. He served as chief nurse anesthetist for the county hospital for 40 years. He taught his craft parttime at the Medical University of South Carolina for 26 years. He is survived by a sister, Johnnie W. Rosser of Charleston, S.C.; two nieces, Betty Meyer and Neil Zeller, both of Melbourne, Fla.; and two nephews, Carey Messex of Rome and Larry Swanson of Macon. There are many other grandnieces and grandnephews living in South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and other states, as well as his many friends. Memorials may be made to Riverbluff Church, 5421 Riverbluff Parkway, Charleston, SC 29420 or Ogeechee Freewill Baptist Church, Millen, GA. Henry J.
