As we celebrate our nation's birthday July 4th, I hope we all take the time to thank God for his blessings upon the United States. He has provided so abundantly for us.

Our nation was conceived and built upon faith and trust in God. It was never the intention of our forefathers that this great country should become a nation of "no religion", but rather a nation where everyone was free to worship God in the manner of their own choosing.

From "sea to shining sea" the United States is a showcase of the blessings of the Lord - minerals, oil, forests, pastures, farmland, lakes and rivers. Our country is truly a country of "milk and honey" - the envy of the world. Let's remember to thank God for the privilege of living in this great land!
