Jenkins probate personnel attends firearms license training at STC

The Office of the Emanuel County Probate Judge hosted "Firearms License Training/ New Federal Regulations" at Swainsboro Technical College (STC) Wednesday, June 20.
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents Chuck Lemley and Tracy Harris conducted the training, which focused on the National Instant Background Check System (NICS) and the new regulations on issuance of firearms licenses.
"I am very appreciative of the hospitality shown to us and the other judges and clerks of the probate courts," commented Emanuel County Probate Judge Don Wilkes. "The facilities were excellent and conducive to a learning atmosphere.
Emanuel County was one of six counties selected statewide to host this training, and STC was an excellent location."
