Midville UMC Youth Musicals Begin

Midville United Methodist Church's John Mulling Youth Group is "upside down" with excitement as they make plans to begin a series of events featuring the "Inside Out Praise and Worship Team" from Oakey Grove Baptist Church.

The first event will be held 6 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at the Midville church. A good time with food and fellowship is planned, and all young people in the surrounding communities are invited to attend.

The Inside Out Team recently provided music and ministry at the Midville church for its reappointment service in honor of the Rev. Tony Smith, pastor of Midville and Union Grove United Methodist churches, and his wife, Jan. Rev. and Mrs. Smith are actively involved in the youth and music ministries of the church, along with other adult leaders.

Members of the Inside Out Team, who consider their music to be a ministry, are Tonya and Dale Ogletree, Margo and Donnie Roberson, Jeannie and David Josey and Jonie Moxley. They are members of the Oakey Grove Baptist Church in Wrightsville, and have been singing together and providing ministry as a team for about a year.

The team brings their own sincere, inspirational message in a format and style that appeals to young and old alike.

An informal, hand-clapping, smiling audience is usually the result of their music - and their approachable style helps young people want to follow in their footsteps!
