Big Horse Creek

Big Horse Creek Church will celebrate 160 years of existence when they hold their Homecoming service Sunday, Aug. 5. The worship service will begin at 11 a.m. and "dinner on the grounds" will follow. Pastor John Parker will bring the message.

The church was organized Feb. 22, 1847. Extensive work on the cemetery has been going on for the past year, with an attempt to place markers on all of the graves.

The public is invited to attend the worship service and fellowship, and to visit the cemetery.
