Marie Owens Joiner, 72, of Millen died Aug. 5

Mrs. Marie Owens Joiner, 72, of Millen died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007.

Her funeral will be 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, Aug. 8, at the West Millen Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Millen Cemetery.

Mrs. Joiner was born in Jenkins County. She was a retired seamstress for Bellcrest Industries and a member of the Millen United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Joy Lee (Harold) Brackin; two sons, Grady (Beverly) Joiner Jr. and Frankie (Julie) Joiner; a brother, Jesse James Owens of Swainsboro; six grandchildren, Jamie Joiner, Chris (Angela) Brackin, Craig Brackin, Kayla Brackin, Anna Joiner and Amee Joiner; and four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, Kameron and Zachary Brackin, all of Millen.

Crowe-Fields Funeral Home of Millen is in charge of all arrangements.
