JCHS Class of 1977 Reunion

The Jenkins County High School Class of 1977 Reunion will be held Homecoming weekend, Friday, Oct. 12, and Saturday, Oct. 13.

Invitations have been mailed. Those who have not sent in their registration and fee should do so by Friday, Aug. 31.

For more information, contact Nellie L. Bynes, Tony Simpkins, Annette Brinson or Connie P. Fitch, or call or stop by the Adult Learning Center (former library location on Hendrix Street) and speak with Elaine D. Williams.

'39ers

The '39ers will meet at noon on Monday Aug. 20, at the Millen Community House. All members are encouraged to attend.

JCHS to hold School Council Election for Parents

Jenkins County High School (JCHS) has scheduled a School Council Parent Election for 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, in the school media center. Two parents will be elected to serve on the council for the next school year. Parents or guardians of students enrolled in JCHS are eligible to serve as parent members of the school council. The law excludes parents of students in the school who are also employees of the school system who work at JCHS to be eligible to serve on the council. If you have questions concerning the school council, contact Dr. Joseph Kirkland at 982-4791 or come by the school office. All eligible parents/guardians are encouraged to attend and participate in the election.

JCMS to hold School Council Election for Parents

Jenkins County Middle School (JCMS) has scheduled a School Council Parent Election for 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, in the school media center. Two parents will be elected to serve on the council for the next school year. Parents or guardians of students enrolled at JCMS are eligible to serve as parent members of the school council. The law excludes parents of students who are employees of the school system at JCMS to be eligible to serve on the council. If you have questions concerning the school council, contact Charre' Moulton at 982-1063 or 982-6508. All eligible parents/ guardians are encouraged to attend and participate in the election.
