Sure Word Baptist Church

Sure Word Baptist Church will celebrate their one-year anniversary with an "Old Fashioned Camp Meeting." There will be God-honoring music and preaching from the Word of God. Evangelist Lou Difilippantonio will be the main speaker.

Service times are 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, August 19; and 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, through Wednesday, Aug. 22.

Drakes Chapel Baptist Church

Drakes Chapel Baptist Church is currently continuing their revival at 7:30 p.m. each night through Friday, Aug. 17.

Guest churches are: today, Wednesday, William Grove Baptist, St. John, Fountain Spring, Lane Grove, Mt. Carmel, Union Chapel, 1st McCoy, Brinson Rock of Millen and Bargeron Grove; Thursday, Bible Missionary, Faith Walker Deliverance, Dickey Grove, New Light, Mt. Gilead, Mt. Zion AME and Roundtree Grove; and Friday, Daniel Grove, Beechwood, Zion Baptist, Bethel AME, Morrison Grove, Nannie E. Williams, New Hurricane Branch, Friendship and First Baptist churches.

The church will celebrate their 93rd anniversary on Sunday, Aug. 19. Sunday School will begin at 10 a.m. and the mass meeting will begin at 11 a.m.

The Rev. Robert Stephens is pastor. The public is invited.

Skull Creek Missionary Baptist Church No. 2

Skull Creek Missionary Baptist Church No. 2 will hold their Men and Women's Day Sunday, Aug. 19. Sunday School will begin at 10 a.m.

Mistress of ceremonies will be Vera Williams. There will be musical selections by individuals and the choir. The speaker will be the Rev. Charles Holloway.

The public is invited.

Rocky Ford Baptist Church

Rocky Ford Baptist Church invites the public to their annual Summer Revival 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, through Friday, Aug. 24.

The guest minister for the week will be the Rev. Ernest Dixon of Wesley Chapel Church in Sylvania.
