Dear Editor,

In response to Mrs. Lee Messex's letter about pit bull terriers, I agree with her theory. If a person or group of persons believes that something is dangerous, then everyone should believe it. My wife was bitten by a cat, so according to Mrs. Messex's theory, all cats should be feared and destroyed. And, while we are at it, what about cars? I personally have pulled several bodies, including teenagers, from cars. According to her theory, we should do away with cars? And let's not forget litterbugs. One soda can, if discarded in a bush and left, can hold water and breed mosquitoes. Mosquitoes have West Nile Virus. Maybe we should destroy all litterbugs! What do you think? Sounds good in theory!

Just because some people mistreat a certain breed of dog, do we destroy all of that breed? Maybe it's the people!
