New teachers go through orientation

When you enter the doors of the Jenkins County school system this school year, you will notice new faces. These new teachers participated in an orientation Monday, July 30, from 9 a.m. - noon to acquaint themselves with school operations.

Melissa Williams, director of instructional services, was instrumental in planning and conducting the orientation. Jenkins County Farm Bureau Insurance Agency, under the leadership of Steve Burke, sponsored a luncheon at Krystal's Taste of Country and Core Credit and the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (Page) provided refreshments.

Those participating were as follows: Jennifer Brinson, Valen Burke, Kathryn Crosby, Barbara Daniel, Josh Fleming, Misty Harris, Sumer Holloway, Chris Landing, Kristen Murray, Alan Putz, Emma Roundtree, Rochelle Sheppard, Quinton Sweet, Daniel Varner, Kenneth Wade and Mark Whitt.
