In Memoriam

In memory of our mother,

Ms. Jessie M. Lake

Aug. 22, 1956 - Aug. 9, 2006

Today is the day that our mama went away, and she left behind many prayers to pray.

She left us behind with a list of all good things, so we could meet her in the sky and see her brand new angel wings.

She gave us so much love, many kisses and many hugs; as much as she could give us before God came and pulled her plug.

As she laid there in her bed, she told us not to cry; we just have one life to live, but one day we all shall die.

She gave her soul to God, and she told us we should, too; and that was her mission, to do what He wanted her to do.

She didn't ask for much, but fashion was her thing, and when we put her to rest, boy, she sure was clean!

The time has come for us to do what she wanted us to, because our mama loved us, but guess what? I bet she knows we love her, too!

Love,

Crissy, Catrina, Tiffany and Josh

In memory of

Jessie M. Lake

Aug. 22, 1956 - Aug. 9, 2006

Mommy, Mommy, what do we do, Mommy, Mommy, what do we say? You left without saying goodbye, You turned to us and said, "My babies, don't cry." Only God knows the pain we had to bear, When we longed for you today, And you weren't there. We'll miss you and we love you, This you should know. Those were the words I said to you, Before I let you go. Your last words to me were, "I love y'all, too." And that hurt so bad, knowing that the Lord had called you home and there was nothing we could do. You always taught us how to fall down on our knees and pray. So, we are praying you know how much we love and miss you, Mommy. Happy birthday.

Love,

Crissy, Tiffany, Catrina, Josh and the grandkids
