Hargrove, Lewis to unite in marriage

David L. and Linda A. Hargrove of Waynesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Catherine Abbott, to Danny Leroy Lewis Jr., son of Danny and Kathy Lewis and Teresa and Toby Wommack, all of Millen.

The private wedding ceremony is planned for 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. W. C. Hargrove Jr. and the late Mr. Hargrove and A. Louis and Viola K. Abbott, all of Waynesboro.

She is a 1999 graduate of Edmund Burke Academy and graduated from Augusta State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in management.

She is currently employed by Blair Construction in Evans.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel M. Lewis and Floretta and Harrison T. Clifton Jr., all of Millen.

He is a 1992 graduate of Jenkins County High School. He received an industrial maintenance diploma in 1993 and an associate's degree in applied technology in 2003.

He is currently employed by Briggs and Stratton in Statesboro.
