By Deborah Bennett Millen News Editor

Four candidates qualified last week for the three positions to be elected in the City of Millen Municipal General Election to be held Tuesday, Nov. 6.

For Mayor, incumbent King Rocker is opposed by Bobby Anthony, a former city council member.

Council member Lee Ward Williams, Ward #1, is unopposed in his bid for re-election as is council member Darrel Clifton, Ward #2.

All citizens registered to vote in the City of Millen as of Monday, Oct. 9, are eligible to vote in this election. Anyone desiring to register to vote in the election may do so at the Registrar's Office at the Jenkins County Courthouse during regular business hours by Oct. 9.
