William T. Brown, 79, of Millen died Aug. 31

Mr. William Thomas Brown, 79, of Millen died Friday, Aug. 31, 2007.

Visitation will be held 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. today (Wednesday,) at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at the Millen Cemetery.

Mr. Brown was born in Toombs County. He was a retired construction worker.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Carver Brown of Millen; three sons, Bob Brown of McMindville, Ore., William T. Brown Jr. of Savannah and Jimmy Brown of Millen; four daughters, Anita Brown of Millen, Brenda of Arkansas, Latrelle of Oregon and Judy of Newberg, Ore.; four stepsons, Jeremy Johnson of Millen; Patrick Johnson and Charles Carver, both of Sardis, and Jeffery Carver of Abbeville, La.; two sisters, Mamie of Savannah and Doris of California; a brother, Brooks Brown of McMindville; and several grandchildren.
