Jerry Albert Hooks of Waynesboro died Sept. 9

Jerry Albert Hooks, 67, of Waynesboro died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007.

Graveside services were held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, at the Elam Cemetery.

Mr. Hooks was born in Jenkins County. He was a retired electrician, a Mason and a Baptist.

Survivors include his two daughters, Wendy (Earl) Burke of Waynesboro and Trisha Ann Fries of Millen; two sisters, Edith Willis of Twin City and Yvonne Chester of Alabama; four brothers, W.A. Hooks of Garfield, Tommy Hooks and Samuel Hooks, both of Twin City, and Ronald Hooks of Millen; and five grandchildren.

Crowe-Fields Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
