Long Branch Church of God

Pastor Jeff Horne and the Long Branch Church of God invite everyone to celebrate Homecoming with them Sunday, Sept. 23. Morning worship will begin at 11 a.m. and a fellowship meal will follow.

The guest speaker for the day will be Dr. Ray H. Hughes, one of the foremos Pentecostal speakers of this era. Dr. Hughes has held many prestigious positions including gen- eral overseer of the Church of God for two separate tenures, president of the National Association of Evangelicals and president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of North America. He held an executive position in the World Association of Evangelicals and served as president of Lee College and state overseer in two states. He was the first national youth director for the Church of God. He has authored at least 10 books and has traveled and preached in over 130 countries.

Faith Baptist Church

Faith Baptist Church, Midville, invites everyone to their ongoing "Olds Paths Bible Conference" services at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily through Thursday, Sept. 20. Lunch will be served following the morning services.

Nannie E. Williams United Methodist

The Rev. Kenneth Griffin, pastor, and members of Nannie E. Williams United Methodist Church cordially invite the public to Homecoming services Sunday, Sept. 23. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m.; morning worship begins at 11:30 a.m.; and Homecoming services will begin at 3 p.m. Horsecreek United Methodist Church, Rocky Ford, will be in charge of services. The guest minister will be the Rev. R.L. Whitehead, pastor of Sand Hill and Bargeron Grove Baptist churches.

The church will hold their annual revival services 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, through Thursday, Oct. 4. The Rev. Milton Rollins will be the guest evangelist. The public is cordially invited.

Rocky Ford Baptist Church to hold deacon appreciation

The Rocky Ford Baptist Church family invites the public to celebrate the appreciation of Deacon Cornelius Williams 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22. Pastor Thelma Evans will be the speaker. Dinner will be served.

Bethel A.M.E. Church to hold revival services Sept. 25-27

Pastor Alma Mack and the Bethel A.M.E. Church family announce that annual revival services will be held 7:30 p.m. Sept. 25-27. The guest minister will be the Rev. Abrahm Frazier, pastor of Greater Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, Waycross.

The guest musician for the week will be Brother Macarthur Haynesworth, minister of music at St. Philip A.M.E. Church, Savannah. He also serves as musical director for "Unity", a community choir which had its beginning in the 2007 Martin Luther King birthday celebration for Jenkins County.

Guest churches for Tuesday will be Morrison Grove, New Hurricane Branch, New Light, Rocky Ford, St. John, Williams Grove and Zion Baptist churches. On Wednesday, guests will be Williams Chapel A.M.E., Brinson Rock, Daniel Grove, Gordon Grove, Johnson Chapel, Lane Grove and Needful Baptist churches. Guests for Thursday will be Nannie E. Williams U.M.C., Bargeron Grove, Dickey Grove, First Baptist, Kelsey Chapel, Sand Hill and Welcome Baptist churches.

Culminating service will be Family and Friends Day 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30. Guest minister for this event will be the Rev. William "Bruce" Blount Sr., pastor of Greater Young Zion Baptist Church, Augusta.

Fountain Spring Baptist Church to hold Men and Women's Day program

The public is cordially invited to attend Fountain Spring Baptist Church's annual Men and Women's Day program during the 11:30 a.m. worship service Sunday, Sept. 23. Pastor Elder Pearlstine O. Capers and members encourage the public to come out and support this program.
