Millen Baptist Church Homecoming and Terrific Tuesdays

Millen Baptist Church will hold Homecoming services Sunday, Oct. 7. Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. and worship service begins at 11 a.m. A covered dish lunch will follow in the fellowship hall.

Dr. Cliff Morris, a former pastor who is now the pastor of First Baptist Church in Dublin, will be the speaker. Leroy and Ann Clayton and the church choir will provide music.

The public is invited.

Millen Baptist Church will hold Terrific Tuesdays at 7 p.m. each Tuesday during the month of October.

On Tuesday, Oct. 2, the Rev. Dannie Williams, senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Lyons who also serves on the Executive Committee of the Georgia Baptist Convention, will be the guest minister.

Born and raised in Lyons, Williams has been married to his wife, Gwen, for 35 years. He has been in the ministry for 29 years. They have two daughters and six grandchildren.

A graduate of Criswell Bible College in Dallas, Texas, he also attended Dallas Theological Seminary.
