Mr. Edward L. Gregory, 70, of Millen died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007.

Graveside services were held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, in the Millen Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Freeman officiating.

Mr. Gregory was born in Jenkins County. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired peace officer. He was a member of Green Fork Baptist Church.

Survivors include his three daughters, Donna Gregory (Al) Peel of Millen, Becky Gregory (Jeff) Hooks of Sylvania and Robin Gregory of Sylvester; a sister, Barbara Gregory Burke of Millen; and seven grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers were active and retired peace officers. Crowe-Fields Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
