Lady Eagles win 2 out of 3

The Jenkins County High School Lady Eagles played three tough games this past week beating E.C.I. and Hephzibah then losing to Calvary. The team has a record now of 6 wins and 8 losses. The team is locked in a battle with Portal and Bryan Co. for third place in the Region.
Senior Lindsay Purvis is leading the team with a .347 batting average and 17 hits. Freshman Mackenzie Walker is second with a batting average of .318. Senior Dee Dee Davis is leading the team in runs batted in posting 12 so far this season. Close behind Dee Dee is Mackenzie with 11 RBI's.
The Lady Eagles celebrated Senior Day Tuesday with special recognition going to Lindsay Purvis, Dorothy Davis, Brookes Brinson and Keeley Sapp. These girls have played amazing softball in their four years and will be missed next year.
