Jenkins County Grand Jury indicts 16

The Jenkins County Grand Jury convened in Jenkins County Superior Court last month and indicted 16 persons as follows:

• Willie James Durrah, five counts of burglary, two counts of theft by taking and three counts of theft by taking (firearm).

• Qhymel Mhura Legg, five counts of burglary, two counts of theft by taking, three counts of theft by taking (firearm) and three counts of possession of firearm by first offender.

• Dashawn Jamar Williams, burglary and theft by taking.

• Timmie Lee Reed, aggravated assault, three counts of possession of firearm by convicted felon and escape.

• Cedric Roper, two counts of aggravated child molestation and aggravated sexual battery.

• Ramon Coney, two counts of aggravated assault, terroristic threats and acts and battery.

• Christopher Hill, aggravated battery.

• Jeffrey Kevin Sheffield, theft by shoplifting.

• Julius Shawn Carter, possession of hydrocodone, habitual violator, obstruction of officersmisdemeanor, driver under the influence of drugs and alcohol and speeding (motorcycle).

• Gregory Griffin, terroristic threats and acts, interference with government property and obstruction of officers-misdemeanor.

• Brian Maurice Jones, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and fleeing/attempting to elude a police officer.

• Donald Grier, two counts of obstruction of officers and theft by shoplifting.

• Christine Roberson, theft by shoplifting.

• Jacquelyn Williams, possession of cocaine and possession and use of drug related objects.

• Haward Reeves, possession of cocaine and possession and use of drug related objects.

• Jimmy Darnell Thomas, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana-less than an ounce and driving while license suspended or revoked.
