Letter to the Editor
Dear Editor,

The last seven years in Jenkins County have been very satisfying for me as a person and a gospel minister. It gives me that warm, fuzzy feeling to ride down the street and have personal greetings to and from those along the way, from leaders of the community to the guys who work on or clean the streets.

This is such a personal area! People here still care! This is evident by the outpouring of love to those who are hurting!

It is never easy to say all I would care to say at a memorial service, and I thought of friendships as I drove away from the gravesite of Edward Gregory.

To Virginia and the guys of "The Coffee Club," daily friendships are priceless!

Thanks, Dr. James Ray Freeman Sr., THD
