Eagles fall to E.C.I. 28-0 The Jenkins County High School Eagles lost this past Friday to E.C.I. on the road in Twin City. The Eagles' offense made a few mistakes that ended up very costly. Turnovers plagued the offense and slowed the momentum. Quentin Jenkins led the team in rushing. On defense, the Eagles played a tough game against the high powered offense of Emanuel County. You could almost hear the hits applied by the Eagle defense all the way back to Millen. This was the first region game in the season for the Eagles. This week the Eagles will travel to Claxton for the second week on the road before coming home Oct. 12 to face Savannah Country Day. Mark you calendars for Oct. 26, which will be Senior Night. The Eagles will face Bryan County at home and will be honoring the graduating players. Let's pack the house! |
