Cheerleaders selected for high school's competitive squad

Jenkins County High School (JCHS) recently announced the 2007 Competitive Cheerleading Squad. The Competitive Cheerleading Squad will represent Jenkins County in four competitions during the season, including a region competition.
The squad will compete against other 3A high schools within its region including Bryan, Johnson, Montgomery, Portal and Treutlen counties.
The competitions are: Toombs County High School, Saturday, Sept. 29, placed first; East Laurens High School, Saturday, Oct. 13; Effingham County High School, Saturday, Oct. 27; and Toombs County High School, Region Competition, Saturday, Nov. 3.
The JCHS Competitive Squad will hold a community-wide performance Thursday, Nov. 1, at the Millen-Jenkins County Recreation Department; details will be announced.
The JCHS Competitive Cheerleading Squad was the 2005 and 2006 Region 3A champions.
The squad includes Breanna Adams, Shelby Burke, Christian Chance, Crystal Daughtry, Megan Fields, Lindsey Hall, Jessica Head, Katelyn Head, Lindsey Heron, Jamie Herrmann, Brittany Johnson, Zandra Lake, Rhonda Lovett, Danielle McBride, Hayley Newton, Crisalyn Walker, Mackenzie Walker and Amber Wommack. Coaches are Kimberly McMillan, Melissa Cobb and Cheryl Conley.
