Fostine Boulineau, 72, of Millen died Oct. 10

Mrs. Fostine Whitehead Boulineau, 72, of Millen entered into rest Wednesday Oct. 10 2007, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's.

Graveside services were held 11 a.m. Friday Oct. 12, in Summertown United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Butch Taylor officiating.

Mrs. Boulineau was born May 25, 1935 in Emanuel County. She was a lifelong resident of Jenkins County. She graduated from Jenkins County High School in 1955.

Mrs. Boulineau was a loving wife and a wonderful friend to all who met her. She was a homemaker and a member of Deep Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlton Whitehead and Bertha Pierce Whitehead, and her husband, Johnny Boulineau.

Survivors include five daughters and two sons: Diane Underwood and husband, Joe, of Twin City; Penny Rollins and husband, Bee Jay Sr., of Sylvania; Joey Boulineau and wife, Beverly, of Midville; Doris Lee of Twin City; Clay Boulineau and wife, Angela, of Millen; and Tammy Boulineau and Buffy Boulineau, both of Millen; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry Whitehead and Herman Whitehead; and a sister, Helen Whitehead, all of Millen.

Pallbearers were Mrs. Boulineau's grandsons: Jody Underwood, Daniel Boulineau, Matthew Boulineau, Bee Jay Rollins Jr. and Bryan Lee.
