83-year-old Coke bottle found
Russell Towns of Millen found this Coca-Cola bottle buried in the mud at a Jenkins County location. It is dated Dec. 25, 1923 and was bottled at the Waynesboro Coca- Cola plant. Mr. Towns contacted Coca-Cola about his find, and the company has expressed interest in purchasing the bottle. (Staff photo by Deborah Bennett)
