Toddler Isaiah Barker appears in Tyler Perry's film, "Why Did I Get Married," which opened in theatres Friday, Oct. 12. The two-year-old plays the son of mega-superstar Janet Jackson and Malik Yoba of "New York Undercover." This is his first appearance on the big screen.

"Why Did I Get Married" is a big-screen adaptation of Perry's play with the same title. It is an intimate story about the hardships of staying married and maintaining a love relationship in today's world.

During a trip to the picturesque, snowcapped mountains of Colorado, eight married college friends gather for their annual seven-day reunion, which is suddenly cut short. Over the course of the movie, husbands and wives take a hard look at their lives, dealing with issues of betrayal, commitment and forgiveness, as they push forward.

The toddler is the son of Louis R. Barker and Kimberly H. Barker of Grovetown. They are very excited about his film debut.

He is the grandson of the late Rev. E.L. Handberry of Wrens, former pastor of the Lofton Circuit, and Susie G. Handberry of Millen. His great-grandmother is Ollie Mae Golf, also of Millen.
