Eagles shutout
      The Jenkins County High School Eagles lost 17-0 this past Friday night at home to Savannah Country Day. In front of a packed house, the team played a hard fought game but was unable to put points on the board.

JCMS math class participates in standards-based learning
      Monica Broxton's eighth grade math class has been studying probability. As part of a standards-based classroom, they recently completed a Georgia Performance Task called "Mrs. Love's Children." This was a task where the students had to work in groups to name Mrs. Love's twins.
