True Born Church of Christ Deliverance Center, Inc., 157 MLK Jr. Ave., will hold their "Church Anniversary Celebration" services 7:30 p.m. today, (Wednesday, Oct. 24,) through Friday, Oct. 26, and noon, Sunday, Oct. 28.

Deacon Rufus Bailey is chairman and Mary Young is secretary. The church family and their pastor, Dr. Apostle Richard Walthour Jr., invite the public.

Pastor Thelma L. Evans and the Rocky Ford Baptist Church invite everyone to their 130th Church Anniversary celebration 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Thomas Moore of Waynesboro.

Endtime Faith

Deliverance

Church

Endtime Faith Deliverance Church of Midville will be host for a Men's Conference 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, through Saturday, Oct. 27. There will also be an 11 a.m. service on Oct. 27. A different speaker will be present for each service. The theme for the services will be "Men Raising the Standard."

The public is invited to come and help make the services a great success, including women. The pastor of the church is Clyde Foreman Sr.

The Rev. R. L. Whitehead, pastor, and members of Sandhill Baptist Church invite the public to "The Father, Son and Holy Ghost Benefit Program" 4 p.m. Sunday, October 28. Guest speakers for the occasion are the Revs. Rufus Miles, J. A. Bush and Thomas Moore.

The public is cordially invited to the annual "100 Women in White" worship service at Fountain Spring Baptist Church 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27. Special guests will be Pastor Thelma Evans and the congregation of Rocky Ford Baptist Church.

Dry Branch Baptist

Church

Dry Branch Baptist Church will hold their annual "Fall Festival" Saturday, Oct. 27. The festivities will begin at 3 p.m. and conclude late that evening with a hayride. There will be food, games, prizes and rides for children. Planters EMC will sponsor I-D-a-Kid and there will be many other activities for the whole family to enjoy.

The festival is always a wonderful time of fun and fellowship. Pastor Brad Boynton invites everyone to participate in this event.

The cost of admission for the "Fall Festival" is three canned foods per adult and two canned foods per child. All food collected will be donated to the Jenkins County Resource Center for their food bank.

Second McCoy

Baptist Church

Pastor Levi Sapp and members of Second McCoy Baptist Church invite the public to their annual Harvest Day program 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4.

Ladies, wear bonnets and long dresses; and men, wear overalls and brogan shoes. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Charlie Davis Jr. Dinner will be served.

New Hurricane Branch Baptist Church will hold a "Men and Women Day" program 9 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4. The women's speaker will be Christine Stripling and the men's speaker will be John Mack. Elder Levon Alston is interim pastor. Deacon Charlie Walker Jr. is chairman.

Faith Walk Deliverance Church

Faith Walk Deliverance Church will host a "Holy Ghost Block Party" beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27. All food and drinks are free. Everyone is invited. The Rev. Robert Reese is pastor.

Needful Baptist Church will hold their annual "Women and Men Day" celebration Sunday, Nov. 4. Sunday School will begin at 10:30 a.m. and worship services will begin at 11:30 a.m. Mary Mitchell and Elizah Coney will preside. The public is invited.

West Millen Baptist Church will present Judgment House 2007, "Plenty of Time," 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, through Friday, Nov. 2, at the Jenkins County Recreation Department.
