Roberts, Sims to unite in marriage

Lindsey Renee Roberts and Alan Way Sims

Mr. and Mrs. William G. Roberts announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Renee Roberts of Atlanta, to Alan Way Sims of Atlanta, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harris Way Sims, Jr. of Macon.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007 at Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church in Atlanta.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Gerald R. Roberts and the late Mr. Roberts of Jonesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel G. Masters of Ellenwood.

She graduated magna cum laude from Berry College with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting. She also received a Master of Accounting degree from Kennesaw State University. She is currently employed as an accountant with HLB Gross Collins, P.C.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harris Way Sims, Sr. of Alma and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Bernard Parker, Sr. of Millen.

He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia College and State University. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and is an alumnus of Sigma Chi fraternity. He is currently employed by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention as a manager within the contracting division.
