100 points!
Four Jenkins County Middle School eighth graders have already earned 100 points during the first nine weeks in Accelerated Reader which is used as a part of the reading curriculum at the middle school. They are, from left, seated: Caitlyn Baggett and Juan Rangel; and standing: Christian Valle and Dallas Wilson. Students are assigned point and test average goals based on their reading levels. These students surpassed their goals, which would have been approximately 30 - 40 points. They are in Ms. Amber Arrington's eighth grade reading class. (Photo contributed)
