Do you still believe in miracles? Abraham Jones certainly does!
While working this past summer, Abraham misplaced his Jenkins County High School (JCHS) class ring. Not knowing where to look, and after several months, he was thinking of ordering another ring at the price of around $500.
Last week, Ms. Burnistine Palmer from Statesboro appeared at the high school with Abraham's ring. She stated she was passing through Millen in June and found the ring in the parking lot at a local business. With school not in session, she held on to the ring with plans of bringing it to the high school the next time she was through Millen.
According to Ruth Hearn, JCHS counselor, Abraham and his mother were very delighted to have the ring recovered.
