Eagles suffer home loss

      The Jenkins County High School Eagle football team was defeated at home this past Friday night by Bryan County 26-6. The loss dropped the Eagles to 1-4 in the Region with one game remaining. The stands were packed for a night filled with activity.

Truedogs settle for second in playoffs
      Truedogs 16U Baseball "hunkered down" in USSSA's Fall State Playoffs held at Statesboro's Mill Creek Park Saturday, Oct. 13, and Sunday, Oct. 14. After losing Saturday's opener 7-4, the Truedogs rebounded with a 3-2 win to enter Sunday's championship round one-and-one.
