Nov. 11 set aside to recognize retired educators

Georgia Gov. Sonny Purdue has issued a proclamation calling on all state residents to remember and honor those who were involved in their education from kindergarten through college. Retired Educators Day will be celebrated in Jenkins County on Sunday, Nov. 11.
