The Jenkins County High School Eagles football team closed out their season with a win this past Friday night on the road in Portal. The win brought the Eagles' record to 4-6 overall and 2-4 in the region.

For nine senior players, it was the last game in their high school football careers. For many younger players, it was the last game until next season when the Eagles will return with a lot of experienced players on both sides of the football.

This year brought highs and lows as all seasons do. A few of the highlights during the year included a packed Eagle stadium and a sense of pride in the players. The men, all year long in wins and defeats, made us all proud to wear the Blue and White. The Eagles went 2- 3 on the road and 2-3 at home.

As we close out the year, let's take a moment to say "goodbye" to Eagles that are moving on in their lives to college. The following are the senior Eagle players: Tim Patterson (#3), Caleb Chance (#10), Patrick Moody (#20), Boyd Sasser (#22), Jardy Sapp (#30), Justin Lanier (#35), Zac Clark(#43), Robbie Sipes (#53) and Patrick Milner (#76).

Thanks for the memories!
