Dear Editor,

The Jenkins County Development Authority is aware that this county faces a crisis regarding employment. We are aware that we have suffered a loss of some 800 jobs.

We have declared a Day of Prayer for those who have lost a job. We will meet at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, at the Olde Pal Theater for a service for the entire county. We have requested that the Rev. Dan Zellner serve as chairman of the Arrangements Committee.

We would like for you to devote one hour of your time to this worthy event.
